Katrina King Nicholson is a native of upstate New York and holds degrees from the Cleveland Institute of Music and the Shenandoah Conservatory. She is the winner of numerous competitions in the Rochester and Cleveland areas and has a special interest in music theory, historical performance, and the intersection between music and storytelling. Dr. Nicholson is an active teacher and freelancer in the D.C. area. In her spare time, she enjoys trail runs, classic literature, and experiments in the kitchen.
